About Special Day Car Hire

At Special Day Car Hire our intention is, to supply you with a Wedding Car Hire service for your very special day. We cover primarily Essex and Hertfordshire, but are prepared to widen this area if requested.

We are a small family run business based in Ongar, which is situated conveniently between the towns of Brentwood, Epping, Harlow and Chelmsford. The purpose of our company is to give you the very best service for your special day. We will ensure that the day is dedicated to you and therefore will not undertake more than one wedding on any day.

Our luxury car is a beautiful White Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II with a biscuit leather interior and matching carpets. Built in 1980 it is one of the last of this particular model. It has a very effective air conditioning system, which really is essential as open windows are a certain way to ruin hairstyles! The car has a gold ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ above the grille, which really sets it off.

Our classic car will be dressed with ribbons and a bow, with white or ivory being the most requested colours. However, a selection of colours are available for co-ordinating, where possible as a wedding requirement. We also have a silk flower arrangement in neutral colours on the rear parcel shelf.
